In math we wrapped up decimals today. We will be moving onto Data Analysis, multiplication with larger numbers, division and we will close the year with shapes. Loads more to go, but we can do it.
In French we completed most of our book reviews, and are now working on our poems for our Mini Gala Oratoire which we are currently planning to host on the 12th of June. Parents will be invited to this event. This is only for our class, so invitations will be sent out shortly. We also continue working on "Les bas du pensionnat".
Congratulations to Isla for a beautiful performance on Saturday at the Gala Oratoire!
In science we are observing our tomato plants as we learn about plant growth and what they need, and we will be planting sunflower seeds soon too. We also started building our little solar-powered vehicles as we talk about light and shadow as well. The majority of last week was really spent on preparing for Coding Quest and it turned out to be a great success. Here are some photos. It was a very busy time, so it was challenging taking photos but I tried to capture a few of the fun moments.
