Just keep swimming, just keep swimming - Nov 6

Today we continued with our swimming lessons.  Thank you again to the amazing volunteers who helped us get ready and off to the pool as well as get back safely.  To my knowledge nothing lost its owner today 😄

Math-a-thon: Due to a personal emergency I had to leave early today, and therefore the pledges did not go home today, as planned, but will absolutely go home tomorrow.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.  Again, the money should be sent in by November 9th.

Today in Math we did a Marathon again, but this time looking at large numbers and the positions for each of the digits in them (unites, dizaines, centaines, etc.).  There were 20 questions to answer for each of the numbers and those who were among the first three to finish with correct responses received a small reward (colourful transparent dice to practice their math skills with.)

In French we continued working on determinants and should be wrapping it up very soon.  Up next will be adjectifs.

We also had our BFG groups this morning, where we did beautiful Remembrance Day crosses to help us remember the many fallen soldiers from WWI and WWII.  Things were so busy that we had no time for pictures, but we will make sure we take some good ones tomorrow as the crosses are absolutely beautiful.
